Tap the star, and the symbols appears on the chat item you were selecting, next to the time stamp. If you want to remove the star, just repeat the process and hit the crossed-out star button.

The starred messages are accessible in a separate tab, from the app's menu button on the top right; there'll be a new "Starred messages" option between WhatsApp Web and Status. It shows you a scrollable list of starred messages, in chronological order, with the name of the contact you were chatting with. You can also remove stars from messages in this viewer.

Steps:-

*Firstly, download Apk Editor and install it.

*Now, download Apk Editor Patch and install it, this will ask you to replace previous installed app, grant access to it.

*Now, open Apk Editor and locate the apk, long press on it and select option "Clone",give path and press ok.

*Now, change the name of apk as your wish andpress ok.

*Now, open any file manager app, locate cloned app and install it.

*That's it you will see two same apps in your app tray...
