Facebook keyboard shortcuts vary slightly with each browser.
Each browser uses a modifier key which is the first part of shortcut.
For chrome and internet explorer browser modifier key
will be Alt ,while for firefox it will be alt plus shift.
also while using numbers in shortcuts you have to use numbers above qwerty keyboard and not those on number pad.
'M'
Pressing the modifier key with M opens a new face book message. Apart from internet explorer M will take you to browser's home page.
'?'
Pressing the modifier key and question mark key moves your
cursor to Facebook's search box.
'0-9'
Pressing the modifier key plus a number brings up variety of shortcuts
1 for News
2 for Profile page
3 for Friend requests
4 for Messages
5 for Noticifications
6 for Account settings
7 for Private settings
8 for Facebooks official fan page
9 for Facebook's statement of rights and responsibilities

When twitter was relaunched last year it introduced number
of number of keyboard shortcuts for use in its new layout. Here are the most useful.
'G'
You can navigate your twitter account by pressing G followed
by first letter of the section you want to go.
G plus H for home page
G plus R for replies/mentions
G plus P for profile
G plus M for messages
G plus U opens search box so you can look for people
'N' Press N for a 'Compose tweet'
window.
Press enter to send the tweet.
'M'
Send direct message using the M shortcut.
'R'
This shortcut is actually used for replying to a tweet not as you might think,for retweeting.
'T'
Press T for retweeting

You can get full list of Gmail shortcut keys by pressing the
question mark key. To
differentiate between question mark and
forward slash on the same key press shift.
You will need to turn on keyboard shortcuts in the mail settings.
'C'
C stands for compose and create new message.Pressing Shift plus C opens the message in new window.
'O'
Use the arrow keys to scroll through your inbox and hit O
(the letter) to open a message.
'R'
Use this shortcut to reply to a message.
Pressing A replies to all recipients and pressing F will forward the message.
Ctrl plus S This shortcut saves the
message you are writing as a draft.
'G'
To jump between mailbox folders you can use the following combinations.
G plus I for Inbox
G plus T for Sent items
G plus D for Drafts
G plus c for Contacts
G plus B for Buzz
# Press the pound key(hash key)
or the delete key to move a message to trash folder.
'/'
The forward slash key puts your cursor in the search box so that
you can find a particular message.
'Z'
This shorcut will undo the last action anywhere in the
Gmail.This includes undoing typing
and moving messages from one folder to another.
